you can’t turn the blood that flows from you into a knife

giving reason for actions is for the sake of reaching understanding. but understanding doesn’t equate to acceptance. it doesn’t mean you have to accept everything. you can be empathetic but you still have the right to feel wronged, to not excuse action.

and there reaches a point where reasons and circumstances can be understood but don’t warrant excuse.

if you compromise too much, you’ll become bitter, sad. live with the reason to be better for you; don’t harden the hurt to puncture.

forgiveness doesn’t mean that you don’t need to accept responsibility.

honesty for the sake of clarity, not bluntness that cuts deep.

if it hurts you, cry out. don’t wallow, don’t wallow.
